Syllabus: | Further development of basic physiotherapy competencies in using research to enhance evidence based practice. Practical skills covered include the interpretation and presentation of research findings. An independent research project will be completed. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have - Discussed the importance of using evidence to make clinical decisions and described the types of evidence available for clinical practice. Demonstrated the ability to generate appropriate research questions relevant to clinical practice. Conducted clinical research using a single case design. Reported on clinical research. Evaluated the evidence for efficacy of a physiotherapy intervention. |
