Syllabus: | Air Conditioning system types and applications, moist air properties, air conditioning processes from Thermodynamic fundamentals and from Psychrometric charts. Design and off-design operation. Evaporative cooling. Indoor air quality - comfort and health.Heat gains, solar radiation and heat flow through structures. Heat storage. System design. Space air diffusion. Duct design by various methods. Use of A-C design software. |
