Syllabus: | Specialised topics in the area of economic geology - ore forming systems, mineral geochemistry, ore geochemistry, techniques in mineral exploration, resource evaluation and metallogenesis. |

Unit Outcomes: | On completion of this unit students will have - Gained knowledge of the basic fundamentals of groundwater exploration and exploitation. An appreciation of the nature of groundwater resources. Analysed natural environments of groundwater. Understood the basic principles governing the nature of groundwater flow and various methods of its assessment. Learnt the essential physical and chemical characteristics of aquifers and aquicludes. The ability to present hydrogeological data by various means of communications. |
