Syllabus:Histology of the digestive and urogenital systems; histological methods for lipids, mucosubstances and some common tissue pigments; neurohistological techniques; pathophysiology including introductory cytopathology concepts.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have- Understood the function and structure of organs of the digestive and urogenital systems. Demonstrated a basic integrated knowledge of the basic pathophysiological concepts of the digestive and urogenital systems. Showed competence in the theory and practice of related histological methods.
