Syllabus: | Colonial government policies related to Indigenous Australian people and understanding the effect policies have had on Indigenous Australian society. Responses by Indigenous Australian people to policies of assimilation, reconciliation, self determination and integration. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have- A critical understanding of various government policies related to Indigenous Australian people and their impact on Indigenous Australian society. A knowledge of Indigenous contributions and responses to assimilation, reconciliation, self-determination and Integration. |
