Syllabus:Field development concepts and development planning, economic analysis techniques, analysis of risk and uncertainty in reservoir management, asset valuation techniques, decision analysis, fiscal regimes, reservoir monitoring and field abandonment.
 
Unit Outcomes: On completion of this unit students will have - Been trained the in how to utilise all the knowledge gained from the first seven units when carrying out a full field reservoir study. Understood the need for a commercial focus when performing reservoir evaluations and making investment proposals. Had training on how to be an effective team member of an integrated group comprising of geoscientists, engineers, planners and economists.
