| Syllabus: | Principles. Advances in the last few years. Cytogenetic changes observed and relationships to different tumour types. Neuroblastoma, Medullablastoma, Breast cancer, Prostate cancer, cancers of the female reproductive organs and urinary tract. |

| Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have - Developed a strong understanding of the different types of solid tumours and the associated cytogenic conditions. Demonstrated the ability to relate prognosis to observed alterations through a continuous accumulation of knowledge. |
