Syllabus:Models of communication. Communication skills in cultural, professional and organisational contexts. Promotional culture. Processes of meaning production. Conventions, structures, genres of oral, written and visual presentation, talks, interviews, briefing notes, media releases, brochures, reports, articles, reviews, newsletters, illustrations and graphics.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Prepared for employment as communication professionals through instruction in specific skills and practices. Had practical experience of communicating at a professional level in a wide range of forms and contexts.
