Syllabus:Participants will write and present an applied project consistent with their research proposal. In every case, the project will focus on challenges and opportunities arising from the changes brought by the globalising economy. Within these constraints participants working with the program's Academic Coordinator will devise an individual project of their own, each one into a particular substantive and geographic focus of its own. Generally, the project will address a problem or opportunity for improvement and, or, innovation arising from the international setting relating to a process, system, policy or product. The project will concentrate on a specific geographic region generally within South-East Asia, North-East Asia and South Asia.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have - Developed and completed a research project based on a real case example. Identified and applied relevant theoretical models that allow the application and interpretation of theoretical knowledge and reflection on the understanding of these in an applied situation. Developed analytical and conceptual thinking skills in the execution of the dissertation. Identified and applied appropriate research methodologies. Academic writing and research capabilities.
