Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have - Developed efficient reading skills so that they can read in different ways according to the text type and to the purpose for which they are reading. Developed personal note-taking skills. Active and passive vocabularies. Developed an understanding of the Curtin library system. An awareness of a variety of issues that concern contemporary Australian society. An ability to think and respond critically to spoken or written text. |
