Syllabus:Histopathology of diseases which affect the lower extremity, treatment justification and clinical outcome measures.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have - Applied a general medicine systems approach to a range of conditions affecting the lower limb in patient groups likely to require podiatric care, and reported findings. Related the aetiological factors, pathological changes and pharmacological management of conditions likely to occur in the patient groups found in a practice and reported these using a problem orientated approach. Critically appraised the medical model in relationship to clinicalaudit and evidence based outcomes. Planned, conducted and reported a series of clinical case histories.
