Syllabus:An interdisciplinary study of Australia from 1918 to the present, exploring its history, geography, arts, film and literature - the Depression, World War II, the boom of the fifties and sixties, contemporary Australia and important cultural themes during the period.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have- A social and cultural overview of Australia from the 1920's to the present. An understanding and practice of interdisciplinary analysis.
