Syllabus:Foundations of occupational therapy practice including- occupational analysis, activity analysis, task analysis, adaptation and grading. Social, cultural, environmental, ethical and individual contexts for activity enhancement. Leisure theory and application of leisure programs for individuals and groups.
 
Unit Outcomes: Upon completion of this unit the student will be able to - Apply analysis of occupations, activities and tasks to leisure, productive and self care occupations. Apply theoretical models to occupational therapy practice. Relate social, cultural, environmental and individual contexts to the analysis of occupation, activities and tasks. Apply methods which promote adaptation within the context of therapeutic intervention. Appropriately apply leisure theories within the context of therapeutic intervention.
