Syllabus:	An exploration of the historical development of feminism in selected European and non - European countries and the relationship between feminism, imperialism and nationalism. Introduction to the concepts and terminology employeed in feminist history and development of skills in applying these concepts and terminology to actual historical materials and situations.

Unit Outcomes:	On completion of this unit students will have - An understanding of the historical development of feminism. Understood the concepts and terminology employed in feminist history. Developed skills in applying concepts and terminology of feminist history toactual historical situations. Developed skills in analysing historical documents. Improved written and verbal communication skills and developed research skills.
