Syllabus:	Develops advanced skills and techniques in the implementation of design concepts within digital interactive audiovisual production and interactive design solutions for World Wide Web delivery. Basic concepts of Common Gateway Interface (CGI) application function for data exchange and the Java programming language. Macromedia Lingo scripting is explored further.
Unit Outcomes:	On successful completion of this unit students will have- Ability to implement interactivity in multimedia presentations especially as it applies to feedback, user monitoring and navigation. Ability to implement CD-ROM based multimedia presentations to aminimum platform standard while still employing a wide range of media. Ability to produce home pages/web sites on the World Wide Web and be aware of the range of possible changes affecting design and implementation which will occur in this area in the future. Ability to apply testing procedures to a multimedia project in various phases of implementation to discover flaws in data integrity, programming errors and cross platform/operating system incompatibilities.
