Syllabus:Normal organisation and function of musculoskeletal, vascular and nervous tissue. Effects of disease and trauma upon these tissues with specific emphasis on the clinical management of conditions affecting the hand and upper limb.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will be able to - Explain in detail the organization and function of normal musculo-skeletal, vascular, and nervous tissue. Explain in detail the responses to injury of musculo-skeletal, vascular and nervoustissue. Synthesize knowledge of tissue injury and repair processes in the clinical management of persons with trauma and disease affecting the hand and upper limb. Critically review the literature pertaining to tissue injury and repair and apply to clinical management.
