Syllabus:	Organisation for, and collection of, data, checking of data and data reduction. Discussion of problems encountered, data analysis and interpretation, methods of data presentation. Preparation of a journal paper, oral or poster presentation of research findings.
Unit Outcomes:	On successful completion of this unit the student will have - developed appropriate methods for data management, checking data, coding data, data reduction, transformation, dealing with missing data and outliers, analysed data using appropriate descriptive and inferential statistical methods, using appropriate software, discussed the implications of the findings and make recommendations for future research. Prepared and presented an oral presentation on the findings of the research project. Prepared andsubmitted a draft and final version of a manuscript for a specified journal in the required style.
