Syllabus:Introduction to advanced topics in research methodology relating to conducting applied research. Students are required to plan a suitable applied research project.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have - Knowledge of the processes and considerations that relate top quality control for research in psychology. Knowledge of the criteria useful in the assessment of quality in psychologic research. Ability to critically appraise published research and research proposals. Understanding the key issues involved in designing viable research projects. The skills and knowledge needed to write a research proposal. The skills and knowledge needed to write a report (Honours dissertation) on a research project.
