Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will be able to analyse basic DC circuits using fundamental concepts such as Ohms law, Kirchhoffs laws, mesh and nodal analysis. They will be albe to demonstrate an understanding of Electric Power and Energy, of complex phasor notation and be able to apply it to ac circuit analysis, of electric fields, their origin and the forces and potential in these fields, magnetic fields, their origin and and the forces on current carrying conductors and of energy storage in both electric and magnetic fields |
