Syllabus:Clinical communication is specifically devised for postgraduate health science students from a non-English speaking background. Australian university study patterns, effective listening and note taking, writing structures, research proposal and thesis writing, referencing, library skills, critical analysis of literature, paraphrasing, summarising, seminar skills and research skills.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have - Demonstrated effective listening and note taking skills. Developed effective communication skills within a clinical environment. Demonstrated effective referencing, library skills, paraphrasing, summarising and seminar skills. Critically analysed the literature and written a research proposal and a research manuscript.
