| Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have- The ability to understand the requirements for the conduct of effective and culturally sensitive research in Indigenous Australian context. Demonstrated the knowledge and understanding necessary to commence a program of field research. A capability of negotiating entry into the field with the participants in their research. Developed the skills and understanding necessary to apply qualitative research techniques in Indigenous Australian contexts.An awareness of the strengths and weaknesses of a range of qualitative research techniques applied in the Indigenous Australian contexts. |
