Syllabus:As for Foundation Mathematics 042, plus additional topics - Radian measure, graphing trigonometric functions, solving trignometric equations. Modulus argument, sketch inequalities. De Moivre's Theorem, nth roots of unity. Rectilinear motion.
 
Unit Outcomes: The aim of the course is to ensure that students have a firm understanding of the mathematical concepts covered in Australian high schools and that they are familiar with the correct terminology plus additional material in Vectors, Complex numbers, Polarco-ordinates and Calculus, as is being taught in the high school courses Geometry and Trigonometry (Year 11) and Calculus (Year 12). The main emphasis is on calculus
