Syllabus:Cross-cultural issues in design, physical, mental and spiritual issues in design, symbolism, metaphor and meaning, tectonics, technology and their integration in design, collaborative processes and practices.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Shown an understanding of three dimensional space/volumetric spaces. Shown an understanding of space, form, scale, proportion, light, colour and materials within interior design. The capacity to resolve design problems at an informed and creative level, reflecting an ability to combine the functional requirements of the brief with the magic or poetry of the environment and its impact on the occupant. The capacity to clearly communicate the designthrough the conventions of drawing used within the profession.
