Syllabus: | Theorists, theories, and/or topics relevant to cultural, textual and media studies and production. Emphasis is interdisciplinary and historical in so far as each unit is concerned with theories of culture, subjectivity and textuality - broadly defined - and with the production and reception of texts within particular cultures. At the same time disciplinary concerns are addressed through focus on particular issues or particular types of texts - media, literary, lived, etc. |
