Syllabus:Demolition and recycling of buildings including major plant items. Civil engineering technology. The movement of people, communication and telecommunication systems. Maintenance of buildings. Case studies and facilities management.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have- An understanding of civil engineering, specialised construction techniques and building management processes. An ability to apply theoretical knowledge in solving practical problems.
