Developing illustration-rich resources, including the design of original instructional visuals. Student generated illustrations. Contextually-based evaluation of the instructional effectiveness of illustrations. Approaches for the effective integration of illustrations with other information formats. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have- Analysed a range of illustrations from an educational perspective. Generated original visual information that facilitates learning. Used computers to prepare and present educational illustrations.Manipulated exsiting visuals in order to improve their effectiveness as resources for learning. Developed ancillary materials that support visual learning. Produced activities and materials that enable students to use drawing and image-making as tools for thinking, exploring and explaining. |
