Syllabus:Development of the innovative and challenging areas of advertising and music video production. Theoretical and practical aspects of working in these formats, including design, budgeting, contracting and copyright considerations as well as production skills.
 
Unit Outcomes: On completion of this unit students will- Have an understanding of the nature of producing screen-based materials for clients on a contractual basis. Have an understanding of key processes in the production of video clips and advertisements. Have an understanding of how to present concepts and ideas to clients using scripts and storyboards. Understand client/producer relationships and be familiar with documentation such as contracts, budgets and clearances.
