Syllabus: | Students undertake practical training on commercial farms to develop key competencies in specified farm operations, an understanding of technical production systems and management strategies and to communicate with farmers and the rural community. It develops an ability to analyse the strengths and weaknesses of farm enterprises and to explore the sustainability of the farm production system. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Understood farm operations in relation to the efficient operation of the whole farm and given enterprises and communicated effectively with the farm family. |
