Syllabus:Reading, listening and viewing modern Indonesian based on a thematic approach. Not available to students educated through Indonesian or Malay.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have- A good understanding of the vocabulary and expressions associated with various topics. An ability to express themselves orally and in writing within these topics. A firm grasp of grammatical principles. A better acquaintance with the differences ad similarities in cultural and social behaviour between Indonesians and Australians.
