Syllabus: | Development of a research project proposal under the guidance of supervisory team. The research topic should involve horticultural production, amenities horticulture, floriculture, post harvest handling, management, marketing or a combination of production or amenities horticulture and management or marketing. Topic, literature review, research plan, milestones and budget estimates. Seminar presentation of project proposal. Commencement of project to be completed in Horticultural Honours Project 402. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Demonstrated understanding of the theoretical aspects and conceptual basis research techniques including literature, review, research design and analysis. Demonstrated understanding of the appropriate application of various research design techniques and be able to apply them in data analysis of scientific and agribusiness management problems. Presented a research report of appropriate academic merit. |
