Syllabus:This is a self-contained specialist unit for Honours and Graduate students in Finance. Provides a deeper understanding of modern international finance, including exchange rate economics, international monetary system, international aspects of interest rates, interaction of exchange rates and commodity prices, foreign exchange risk management using advanced techniques, international financial and investment decisions.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have- Become comfortable in dealing with the complex and dynamic problems involving exchange rates and other variables in the financial markets. Been exposed to empirical research, which would provide agood basis to embark on new research subsequently.
