Syllabus:An examination of the core areas of modern microeconomic theory. The core is examined at a higher level of analytical rigour than previously encountered. Aims to expose students to current issues and method.
 
Unit Outcomes: On completion of this unit students will have - a sound grasp of the basis elements of modern microeconomic theory and the ability to apply that theory in empirical work and to policy problems.
