Syllabus: | Consideration of the impact made by individuals, groups and structure on behaviour within organisations of all kinds. Application of the knowledge gained in improving the effectiveness of organisations. The topics reflect consideration of individuals andbehaviour at work, how people form groups, behaviour in those groups and the mutual influence between individuals, groups and organisation. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have - An appreciation of the importance of every individual to the successful life of an organisation. Demonstrated improved skills in interpersonal interactions. Approached working in groups in another context with greater understanding and confidence. |
