Syllabus:	Consideration of the impact made by individuals, groups and structure on behaviour within organisations of all kinds. Application of the knowledge gained in improving the effectiveness of organisations. The topics reflect consideration of individuals andbehaviour at work, how people form groups, behaviour in those groups and the mutual influence between individuals, groups and organisation.
Unit Outcomes:	On successful completion of this unit, students will have - An appreciation of the importance of every individual to the successful life of an organisation. Demonstrated improved skills in interpersonal interactions. Approached working in groups in another context with greater understanding and confidence.

Unit Assessment Breakdown:	To pass this unit you must obtain 50% or more for both the semester assessment and the final exam. Examination 40%. Group Portfolio 20%. Written Assignment - Analysis of video 20%. Written Assignment - SAS group journal 20%. This is by grade/mark assessment.
