Syllabus: | Introduction to methodologies for studying management from a comparative perspective, and to highlight the emerging issues for an international manager. The practical issues of adaptation needed in cross-cultural or cross-national managerial interfaces are also considered extensively. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have - An understanding of the key dimensions that shape management approaches in international organisations. A knowledge of major theoretical concepts relevant to international management. An appreciation of the importance of external disciplines, for example, economics, geography, history, languages, law, political science. |
