Syllabus: | Investigation methods, sample design and variability, survey methods and measurements, exploratory data analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, cross classification, discriminant analysis, extended multiple regression, other topics in data analysis. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of the unit students will have - Understood the role of data analysis in research. Analysed data for a range of research situations and drawn appropriate conclusions. Be competent in using a modern statistical computer packages in suitably selected applications. |
