Syllabus:Use of visual and auditory effects in courseware. Research on the effectiveness of graphics, animation, and multimedia tools in training and teaching courseware. Comparison of resources available across a variety of microcomputer hardware systems. Importing graphics and sound files among popular platforms. Projects involving the use of student selected graphics and animation software tools.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have- Become familiar with the GIF image format and be able to create a variety of differing types of GIF animations. Appreciated issues related to the use of graphics and animation in an educational setting. Become able to create an educational sequence using graphics, animations and sound in FlashMX.
