Syllabus: | Conceptual and theoretical foundations of advanced clinical nursing practice in health restoration for individuals, groups and target client populations. Disruption in health in the biological, psychological, social, cultural and developmental dimensions. Nursing frameworks and strategies in providing support to clients during disruption, protocols development. Collaborative strategies for the advanced nurse practitioner in health restoration. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Clearly described the overall conceptual framework. Clearly described and explained of the component concepts/constructs in each cell of the framework. Explained and justified the proposed relationships between concepts/constructs. Given an example of a nursing situation which operationalises the conceptual framework. Made available a reference list of conceptual and research based articles that support the conceptual framework. |
