Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Synthesised a conceptual framework for the provision of health maintenance and health promotion strategies to clients. Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge of nursing. Analysed a philosophy of advanced nursing practice that reflects the inherent worth and dignity of clients. Examined a conceptual framework of the role constellation of the advanced nurse in the provision of care to maintain and promote the health of clients. Utilised the principles of scientific inquiry in the design of strategies for the promotion and maintenance of the health of clients. Analysed the nature and type of collaborative relationships essential to the role of the advanced nurse specialist. |
