Discussion in Japanese and English on various sociolinguistic features and problems of cross-cultural communication. Demonstration of sociolinguistic differences through analysis spoken and written language materials. Introduction of technical vocabularyrelating to the topic discussed. Not available to students whose first language is Japanese.
