Planning, carrying out preliminary research, formulation and implemention of a community development initiative or carrying out an evaluation of an existing project in a local environment. Use of a quantitative or a qualitative strategy or a combinationof both modalities in the presentation of the report. The research report addresess some of the following where appropriate - rationale for the project, a needs analysis, the demography of population groups, the project objectives, the method of project implementation, the impact assessment, evidence based-evaluation and summary and conclusions.
