Overview of clinical reasoning theories and models. Interdisciplinary approaches to reasoning in practice. Clinical reasoning strategies and ethical considerations in clinical reasoning. Clinical reasoning in practice, exploration of thinking, learning and problem solving skills used in clinical practice and critical review of clinical decision-making. Development of reasoning strategies. Application of clinical reasoning skills to clinical practice and reasoning in the validation of practice. Case presentation format. Teaching clinical reasoning to others. Personal reflection, review and feedback.
