Locating, understanding, interpreting and critquing databases. Previous research and related sources of information. Ways of planning a futures project, identifying contexts and frameworks and choosing data, tools and methods. Assessment and utilisation of existing data and generation of primary data, forecasting and extrapolation and advanced quantitative models. Development of a quantitative futures research proposal. |
