This unit develops and explains basic economic concepts such as marginal cost, opportunity costs, economic evaluation, economic growth, and macro and microeconomics. Budgets are explored in relation to workplace health and safety programs, conflicts in economic priorities, economic growth and development and compromise in health and safety.
