Understanding the genre of the argumentative essay. Interpreting directional words and their use in organising essays. Developing an academic style and increasing information literacy levels. Understanding how to avoid plagiarism by developing sound referencing and quoting skills. Organising an argumentative essay or report of 1000 - 3000 words.
