Background astronomy, distance measurement, celestial coordinates, magnitude scale, spectra and HR diagram. Stellar structure. Stellar models. Hydrostatic and radiative equilibrium. Stellar evolution. Main sequence stars, white dwarfs, neutron stars and black holes. Nucleosynthesis. Suess Urey curve and B2FH model. H, He and Si burning. s- and r- processes. Light element synthesis.
