This unit promotes an understanding of the evolution of economics. Four main areas are covered, the classical school of Adam Smith and/or David Ricardo, Karl Marx and the reproduction of capital, the neoclassical marginalism of Alfred Marshall and/or LeonWalras, and Keynes and the classics. The unit selectively focuses on value, distribution, growth and/or business cycles. |
