The syllabus will vary from year to year but the following topics will normally be included - goals and instruments of macro economic policy, the theory of economy policy, Australia's recent economic performance, income distribution in Australia, wage determination in Australia, public and private debt, the changing financial system, the state of monetary policy, Australia in the world economy, micro economic reform.
