Historical development of geography. Geographical topics include - systems theory, humanistic, behavioural structural and Marxist approaches. Structuration, realism, feminism, poststructuralism and postmodernism. Emphasis is on the critical analysis of the philosophical foundations of the different paradigms and examination of the contribution each has made to the changing nature of the discipline.
