Continued training in conversation and aural comprehension, intensive drills on new grammar and vocabulary. Reading practice using written dialogues and passages involving not more than 1500 words. Introduction of 100 new Kanji. Writing Japanese compositions within the prescribed vocabulary range. Not available to students whose first language is Japanese.
