Introduction
This stream provides the necessary knowledge and skills to practice as a perioperative nurse. Nursing knowledge and competencies which are necessary for beginning levels of practice will be acquired and are recognised by the Australian Confederation of Operating Room Nurses (ACORN) (1998).
